Opiates: The National Problem

The use and abuse of controlled substances including opiates has skyrocketed into a major health challenge in the U.S. According to the CDC, hundreds of thousands of people have died due to overdoses. In this presentation, we explored the underlying health issues that led to this travesty, including physical and emotional discomfort. We also discussed how herbs can be used to support individuals experiencing everyday stressors and occasional anxiousness.*

Herbs discussed included Rhodiola, Magnolia, Mimosa, Kava, Full Spectrum Hemp, Passionflower, and Wild Lettuce.
